Holly Leaves That Rustle's ebony fur was blowing in the wind, and she purred with delight as her glossy night-black coat fluffed up.
Holly waved her tail. "Greetings." She meowed.
Holly shrugged. "Alright, I suppose." She muttered.
Sun That Shines on Creek was bored. Very bored. He leaped to his paws and slunk out of the cave. "I'm going hunting," he called to Holly and Lava. -Stormver
Pink Petals of Blooming Rose walked up to Sun That Shines on Creek. "Please take me with you!" She purred.
Creekshine sighed. "Fine," he grunted. Just an annoying shecat, he thought in his mind -Stormver
"Thanks." She murmured, feeling a little shy. Petals walked off. "Keep up!" She yowled.
Red rasped her tongue gently over her ruddy-colored pelt, catching sight of Lava and finding herself blushing, staring at him for a few moments. She flinched in surprise and quickly looked away, her pelt hot with embarassment. Stop it, Red, don't stare! She thought, squeezing her eyes shut tight.---- Crow continued to sleep, snoring softly as he curled into a tighter ball.Silverstar 17:13, January 1, 2015 (UTC)
Speckled Stars of Night Sky nudges Red teasingly and says, "Someone's got a crush."
Red let out a loud squeal of alarm, jumping to her paws with her fur fluffed, and face bright red with embarassment. "N-N-N-Nooo I don't!" She quickly responded, her eyes round.---- Crow, hearing Red's squeal, woke up with a loud grunt, flinching so bad he hit his head on a nearby rock.Silverstar 00:15, January 2, 2015 (UTC)
Star began to chuckle. "Yeah, sure!" She purred.
Lava that Rises From Volcano yawned, prancing around the Tribes camp. He heard the cats talking and thought something was up. "What's up, Red?" He meowed cheerfully. Sun shall rise, darkness shall fall
Red quickly looked away from the leader, still a faint red. "U-Uhhm, nothing sir!" She quickly meowed, squeezing her eyes shut and feeling hot once more.----Crow blinked blankly at the crowd, his head aching.Silverstar 00:31, January 2, 2015 (UTC)
Star giggled and waved her tail. "She's... embarrassed... because she tripped over in... hunting?" She tried to make up an excuse for her friend.
Star whisked away Lava with her tail, and after that, she turned to Red and whispered, "Close one. He almost got ya then."
Creekshine called to Petals, "I'll be out in a moment." Then he turned to Red. "Are you okay?" he asked, padding over to her side. -Stormver
"She's fine!" Star said quickly.
Red nodded and then sighed her relief, watching Lava leave. She was safe! Sitting down, she groomed her reddish pelt, a purr rumbling in her throat.---- Crow exited the den, shaking his painful head. Great, this'll hurt for awhile...Hope I didn't injure myself.Silverstar 00:53, January 2, 2015 (UTC)
Star walked away, kinking her fluffy tail over her sleek back.
"I worry about you sometimes," Creekshine mewed in Red's ear. -Stormver
"I'm fine, honest..." Red replied in a quiet tone, stopping her grooming and gazing at the ground. "...I just wonder about my brother sometimes, I'm lonely without him."---- Crow let out a painful growl, rubbing his head gently with a black paw. He eventually stopped, blinking his blue eyes a few times as his vision cleared.Silverstar 01:00, January 2, 2015 (UTC)
Petals sighed, "Finish up!" She groaned.
Star stared at Lava weirdly. "Well...?" She raised an eyebrow.
Petals hissed in annoyance and stalked off. Always Red! ALWAYS HER! What makes her so super special?
Crow let out a low growl, pursuing the she-cat. "Hey, don't be so rude towards me, Red, or anyone else! Why are you hating on her anyways, she never gets attention..."Silverstar 01:15, January 2, 2015 (UTC)
Of course he likes that pretty little she-cat, not me... Petals thought as she left camp and sat down in a spot where there was no Tribe scent. She mimicked Crow, "Not getting attention! OOH PETALS YOU'RE SUCH A MEANIE SHE NEVER GETS ATTENTION ANYWAYSSSS! Ha! You should see how many toms are obsessing over her now." She spat. Rain will fall... 01:20, January 2, 2015 (UTC)
Irritated that he didn't get a response, Crow pursued the she-cat, which took quite a bit of time. He eventually found her, narrowing his eyes with his tail twitching. "I want a response, Petals." He meowed as he pushed his ways through the bracken, not hearing what the she-cat said earlier. Pain surged through his shoulder as he received a scratch from a thorn bush, but he pushed the thoughts of pain from his head. Is she not responding because my brother's a Leader, and I don't belong here...? I don't belong with my brother either, Mr. Famouse and Handsome... Crow thought, holding back tears as he thought of his well-known and pampered brother.Silverstar 01:23, January 2, 2015 (UTC)
Silver watched as her daughter, Red, was talked to by many cats. She'll have a sweet mate and kits one day... I probably never will, what Tom wants a used she-cat? She thought with a heavy sigh, shaking her head slowly.Silverstar 15:46, January 3, 2015 (UTC)
Lava yawned. He was getting tired but hungry as well. He decided to hunt. He stretched his legs and leapt off the rock he was standing on. Sun shall rise, darkness shall fall 16:03, January 3, 2015 (UTC)
Silver sighed softly, wrapping her tail around her body tightly. Curse Weston...I love my kits dearly, but I never loved him, I wish I had Red and Blood with a tom I loved...Poor kits never met their father.Silverstar 20:03, January 3, 2015 (UTC)
Creekshine licked Red's shoulder. He felt sort of a...warmth. Not warmth, love. He felt his heart crack as he thought of Nightgazer. "Red," he mewed in her ear, "I think I like you." -Stormver
Red lay her ears, not knowing what to say as she didn't know him well, but she still blushed. Silver, seeing her daughter in distress, pushed her way between the two of them. She was only a few moons older than her kits, having them as an apprentice, but she was still protective. "Ahem," she simply meowed through a narrowed gaze.Silverstar 00:30, January 4, 2015 (UTC)
"Why does it matter to you?" Creekshine snarled. "I like her and you are a spectator." Silver was more like a very protective mother than a passerby. -Stormver
Creekshine felt a pang of anger and his tail fluffed up. "I don't want to fight," he meowed. "I only want to be with Red." -Stormver
Lava padded into the den, his eyes gleaming. "What's going on?" He meowed, his voice sharp with worry,
Crow curled his lips in anger. "And there isn't one mooning over you right now, right in front of you? I thought you were better than this, Petal, I really did..."---- Red blushed at the sight of Lava, but kept quiet. How could she ever take a mate knowing her mother was mateless, and lost her son as well? If Red left her mother, Silver would have no-one.Silverstar 02:18, January 4, 2015 (UTC)
Petals sighed. "Jealousy is something that we cannot help. It just comes. We notice something about a cat, and it somehow makes us all bitter and furious inside. We've all felt that.. Though we try to hide it, it can come out easily, or it can stay hidden forever. Then we get competitive, and then finally we give up and admit that we'll never be as great as we want to be. Behind jealousy is a nice cat, jealousy isn't the definition of 'mean', jealousy means that there's something about a cat that makes you wish to be like them. When you look up to them, but you're just mad and ambitious about it." Rain will fall... 02:42, January 4, 2015 (UTC)
"And suddenly, randomly, instantly... Everyone is protective over her. Fussing over her." Petals muttered under her breath, blushing after Crow said that. Rain will fall... 02:48, January 4, 2015 (UTC)
Creekshine turned to face Lava. "Silver is trying to interfere with my conversation with Red." He didn't dare mention that he like Red. -Stormver
Lava yawned, leading through a bush to see a small vole. He had to admit, he was hungry. He leaped forward, part of his tail scraping Red's fur. Sun shall rise, darkness shall fall 14:49, January 4, 2015 (UTC)
Creekshine sighed and padded away, his tail drooping in sadness. His heart cracked, breaking inside. Heartbreaker. He glanced back at Red and very briefly their eyes met. -Stormver
Red pressed close to her mother, enjoying the warmth of her silvery fur. There wasn't much of an age difference between them, but Red still loved her mother and always would.---- Crow slowly padded back to camp, his pace rather slow.Silverstar 19:05, January 4, 2015 (UTC)
"I will always love you," Creekshine sobbed. "Always, Red." He ran off, tears flowing down his face. -Stormver
Red kept her eyes on the ground, revealing no emotion and saying nothing. She eventually closed her eyes, pressed closely to Silver, who gently wrapped her tail around her offspring.Silverstar 22:36, January 4, 2015 (UTC)
Lava ran off, a tear rolling from his cheek. He loved Red to see her in so much pain, but knew she would never love a tom like him. I wish this could all just..work out!! Sun shall rise, darkness shall fall22:46, January 4, 2015 (UTC)
After remaining by her mother's side for a few moments, Red gazed up at Silver as she began to speek. "...Would you like to visit your brother?" This made Red's eyes shine with joy, and she quickly nodded happily.Silverstar 22:49, January 4, 2015 (UTC)
Creekshine let out a wail. "I love you, Red." His voice seemed to echo in the moss. She's with Silver, never to leafe unless Silver gets a new mate. Why can't she be happy alone and let me have Red? -Stormver
Creekshine pushed himself to his paws. He had to talk to Red. Silver could not but it. If she wanted to hear it, let her. It wouldn't matter. She'd have to know someday.
He padded over to Red. "Will you listen?" he pleaded when she turned away. She turned around. "I like you. Not like, love. I love you. You're so pretty to me. Silver needs a new mate, I know, but you can leave for a moment right?" He knew his eyes gave every emotion away. It didn't matter. -Stormver
Lava peared over a bush, words of Creekshine shattering his heart. I wish...I wish..I wish Creekshine would just stop... obsessing over her. Lava yawned, curling up in a ball of pain, and guilt. He felt no need to stay awake any longer, so he fell asleep, sobbing. Sun shall rise, darkness shall fall 00:30, January 5, 2015 (UTC)..
"No, I'm not leaving my mother!" Red meowed through a narrowed gaze, lashing her tail once to show she was no longer discussing. She turned and left with her mother to see her brother.Silverstar 20:57, January 5, 2015 (UTC)
Red's scathing words clawed Creekshine's heart. He hissed playfully, trying to lift his spirits. -Stormver
Creekshine closed his eyes, thinking about Red. No love for him, except from Sparks, who was out in the woods somewhere. Sparks had left the Tribe several moons ago, eager to find the lost FireClan. Creekshine blinked, watching Red and Silver. He sighed sadly and trugged a thin, wry shrew to eat alone. Stormver
Silver and Red exited, only to pause as they heard a bunch of noise behind them. "H-Hey, don't forget me!" They turned to see Crimson pushing her way out of the Soldier's den on unsteady paws due to sleep. Red twitched her whiskers in amusement, Crimson gently headbutting her sister's shoulders.Silverstar 22:12, January 7, 2015 (UTC)
Creekshine blinked, his head hurting. He bent his head and fell asleep, the half-eaten shrew dangling from one of his paws. He openned them to Sparks yowling and getting chased off by Silver. Red was slashing at Creekshine, and then bent to lick his ear, then scratched a nick. Creekshine yowled, pushing Red off, only to watch Sparks be flung with a single paw from Silver. He collapsed, dead. Silver rounded on Creekshine and came running across the forest, picking up Creekshine and getting ready to bite in his ear. He yowled, his thoughts frozen in horror. Silver let him go like a mouse, only to stamp on his tail when he escaped. Whdn she finally caught him, ready to eat, he closed his eyes again, and woke. Stormver
As the family left, Crimson continuously shoved her sister, whiskers quivering with energy. "Quit!" Red growled playfully, her tail lashing as she pranced ahead. Growling with joy, Crimson quickened her pace to catch up, slamming her body into Red's. With a delighted yowl, Red tackled Crimson, who hissed with joy, batting at the ruddy she-cat's ears. Silver twitched her whiskers in amusement, slowing to watch her daughter play. Crimson eventually broke free of Red, taking off at top speed, her paws barely touching the ground.Silverstar 22:36, January 7, 2015 (UTC)
Sparks glanced up at the cave. No FireClan cats, so it was back to the Tribe. He wondered about his good friend, Creekshine, and how he was doing. He padded into the cave, spotting a prey pile. His orange and white fur shook at the sight, and his belly growled with delight. He pulled off a squrriel from the pile and sat down to eat it. Stormver
Keeping her paws sheathed, Red tackled Crimson, purring as she pinned the she-cat and then took off. She eventually slowed near a tree stump, deciding that she lost her littermate. Red gasped in surprise as Crimson leaped onto a stump, ruffling her short pelt and growing playfully, leaping off the treestump with her paws outreached. Everything seemed to be in slow motion. Crimson was making her way to Red as she flew through the air, but as she neared, the sunlight was suddenly blocked from Red's golden gaze. Wings erupted from behind Crimson, and Red stiffened with fear. "C-Crimson, look ou-" She was too late. Before Red knew it, the eagle's talon sunk into the shoulders of Crimson, hauling her into the air and making her shriek. Silver yowled in fear and alarm, bolting to her daughters and leaping onto the trunk and jumping up, lashing out to land a blow on the eagle that was flying off with Crimson. But she missed, as the bird was too high for her jump, leaving Crimson wailing and the eagle screeching with delight.Silverstar 23:01, January 7, 2015 (UTC)
Creekshine leaped up, hearing a yowl of fear. He ran to the sound. He let out a cry of horror at Crimson's body and bolted up onto the stump. He tensed, concetrating, then leaped. His claws grasped the eagle's wing, and he held on, his claws grasping the skin beyond the feathers. Stormver
Crimson wailed, her eyes wide with pain as she felt the eagle tense, tightening its grip, warm blood oozing from her shoulder wounds. The eagle flapped wildly, using its other wing to it full potential, but realized it was outmatched. Calling out in anger and pain, it released Crimson, regaining its strength and eventually losing Creekshine, fleeing at topspeed. Crimson fell with a thud, gritting her teeth in pain while her mother swiftly rushed to her side, Red following with wide eyes.Silverstar 23:20, January 7, 2015 (UTC)
Creekshine groaned, his bones hurting. He turned his head to look at Red and Silver as they crouched over Crimson. He pushed himslef to his paws, collapsing near Crimson. He knew she was alive. His paws left a trail of blood. Some claws were wrenched out of his paws, and he winced, his bleeding paws stinging like fire. He turned his head to lick Crimson's fur, then croaked, "Is anyone going to care about me? Care for my bleeding paws and my broken bones?" Stormver
Crimson closed her eyes, pain striking her shoulders where the eagle's talons had been digging into. Her breathing slowed as she took in a deep breath, keeping her eyes closed. "....Thank you for saving my life..." Silver pulled away from her injured daughter, eyes shining with trust and thanks as she reached Creekshine, grasping his scruff and pulling him up, at least high enough to drag his injured body. Red murmured her thanks, hauling her sister onto her shoulders and stumbling slightly, feeling the warm, sticky blood of her sister tickle down onto her own ruddy pelt.Silverstar 23:35, January 7, 2015 (UTC)
Creekshine never felt so tired before. One moment he was on an eagle, the next falling through the sky. Crimson was on Red's back and he was on Silver's. He wondered about how Red reacted to his daring leap to the sky. He knew he would be dropped off to the Healer's den, but he wouldn't be awake, as he was drifting into a peaceful dream of Red licking his wounds. Stormver
Silver dropped off Creekshine in the Healer's den, while Red half-heartedly left her sister, sitting outside with her mother with her shoulders slumped. Silver gently licked her daughter's head to calm her, eventually making Red close her beautiful eyes. The ruddy she-cat leaned against her mother, her breath slow and relaxed. Meanwhile, Crimson lay in the Healer's den, blood still oozing from her shoulder, her golden eyes wide with fear.Silverstar 00:28, January 8, 2015 (UTC)
Sparks looked up from his meal as Red and Silver left the Healer's den. He discarded why, and continued on his meal ----- Creekshine felt his wounds sting like fire as he woke from his peaceful dream. Crimson lay in a different nest, her shoulders covered in random green leaves. His paws weren't stinging as badly as they were before. His body still hurt, though, and he blinked at the outside, turning his head. He spotted Red's tail tip whisk in and out of view, and he tried to push himself up, succeding, and padded outside, his body still hurting a bit. Stormver
When Red saw Creekshine exit the den, she feared for the worst. She quickly approached him in loud steps, her eyes wide with fear. "I-Is it my sister?! Is she ok?!"---- Crimson remain still, her pain slowly ebbing away as the herbs and poppy seeds came into effect. She saw Creekshine leave the den, but remained still, only her head raised and eyes lit with confusion.Silverstar 21:55, January 8, 2015 (UTC)
"She's just fine," Creekshine repiled. "I only came out for a moment." He felt a zap, his legs wiggling, then he collapsed on top of Red. "I didn't know that would happen," he mewed. Stormver
Red narrowed her eyes, slipping out from underneath the collapsed tom. "Errrrr, yeah..." She began in a flat tone, flicking her tail once. "...How about you rest?"Silverstar 22:19, January 8, 2015 (UTC)
"I-It was okay," Creekshine meowed, embarassed. "Crimson's okay." His voice shook as he said that. He had blown it! Red would never be his mate! He felt tears form in his eyes. "Nothing that's too bad," he sighed. "My bones hurt right now." He groaned as a sudden noise emmeted from his legs. CRACK! The bones had snapped. Stormver
Red twitched her ear before returning the ginger tom to the Healer's den, anger bubbling inside her, but she kept it down. Would he ever listen?! She simply placed him in his nest, calling for Holly to tend to Creekshine before leaving, her tail tip twitching.---- Crimson twitched her whiskers in amusement. "Wow, you really did blow it, didn't you?"Silverstar 22:50, January 8, 2015 (UTC)
"I blew it. You're right," Creekshine whined. "She'll never do what I want her to do. I just know it." Stormver
Crimson now lay on her side, trying to ignore the pain in her shoulder-wounds. She flexed a claw before gently licking the fur on her paw. "Our family isn't one to be easily manipulated...Our minds are difficult to change, especially when we have something in our sights we want." She meowed simply, referring to Lava.Silverstar 00:21, January 9, 2015 (UTC)
"So true," Creekshine remarked. "Red doesn't understand me. Nobody does." He didn't dare add how sensitive he was. Nobody understood why he felt sad about a simple loss. Nobody understood his extreme love for his friends and love interests. A small warmth kicked up in his belly, but he ignored it. Not a single thing should keep me from Red. Nothing! Why should anything stop me? He felt tears glisten in his eyes, and he buried his face in his paws, crying. Stormver
(Yay, no school tomorrow, three-day weekend! ^.^) Crimson would've continued, but the poppy seeds kicked in, and she found herself curling into a tight ball with her tail-tip touching her nose, her flank rising and falling rather quickly. Her eyes were tightly shut, and her hind left leg was kicked out, occasionally twitching in her sleep.Silverstar 02:24, January 9, 2015 (UTC)
"No help," Creekshine muttered. He groaned at his broken, hurting bones, unable to sleep. He thought about Red, how angry she must be with him, and then had a quick vision of Silver killing Sparks. He screeched, startled, as the dream seemed to be real, and he squirmed in his nest, unable to move but still trying to run, as the dark shape of his dream Silver launch at him. This time, nothing could stop Silver. She would kill him right there. The dream Silver bit into his belly, bones cracking as she chewed them, then the image changed to a gigantic Red. The dream Red had nothing to stop her, and Creekshine yowled, even though the image was just his mind playing tricks on him. Stormver
Crimson groaned in annoyance and pain, flicking the Tom with her tail. "C.....Cut it out, would you?" She whimpered, feeling sickly and weak, her shoulder throbbing in pain as well as her head. She shivered, though she was hot, not cold.22:45, January 9, 2015 (UTC)
"S-Sorry," Creekshine muttered. He decided to call his horrific dream world The Nightmare, since it was a nightmare. He glanced at Crimson, his love for Red almost switching to Crimson. He then felt the sense of being torn between the love of Red and Crimson. "I'll never be able to choose," he hissed under his breath. "Never." Stormver
Eventually Crimson was no longer ill, and now lay beside the Healer's den, her dark golden gaze on her mother. Her shoulder was healing, skin slowly growing over the wound. Red lay in a patch of sun, sleeping the day away like nobody's business. Silver was floating around the exit, looking nervous yet ready to do something, causing Crimson to narrow her eyes suspiciously.Silverstar 01:01, January 16, 2015 (UTC)
Creekshine blinked at the three she cats. He felt a twinge of regret inside him, his emotions blowing over. Red will never be with me! He thought, remembering the times he flunked it. He turned his head away, unable to hide his shame. His sensitivity would be shining full colors now. He scratched out a carving, saying, "Be with me Red." It would never work. He'd have no mate, no kits, no love. Love was a precious thing to him. He had no love to keep his spirits up. Red could do whatever she wanted. "You can yowl at me and hate me," he called to Red. "Come do it right here." Stormver
Red twitched an ear, ignoring the dramatic Tom and continuing to Sun herself. Why was he so obsessive? They weren't in a relationship, and never would be. Crimson gazed at her annoyed sister, twitching her whiskers in amusement.Silverstar 03:11, January 18, 2015 (UTC)
(And Red ignores Creekshine even when he gives her the best chance to yowl and scream at him.) Creekshine stood up, walking out of the Healer's den. He paused, stopping in front of Red. "It's your chance to hate. I have no love as special as yours. No love is directed at me. Hate all you want, scratch me, yowl like there's no tomorrow, whatever. I won't stop you." His own heart was heavy with her disliking to him as well as sadness radiating through his bones. Red would surely break through his sensitivity wall. It didn't matter. Nothing mattered now. Stormver
Red twitched her tail before rising to her paws and walking away. Couldn't he see that she had no interest in him, and he was just making it worse? Her eyes burned with frustration and annoyance, hoping someone would shoo the Tom off.Silverstar 15:14, January 18, 2015 (UTC)
((Your wish is my command, sargent Red XD)) Lava stretched once again, the sun drying his pelt. He gazed at Creekshine, his eyes glimmering. What is she doing? She's not going to get Red's attention by sobing all the time. He thought. "Creek, why are you so upset?" Flamestar 22 15:26, January 18, 2015 (UTC)
(Not like Creekshine doesn't miss her like a friend he misses but never sees. Nobody cares about him D:) "She won't listen, Lava," he sighed. "She'll only listen to you. Nobody loves me anyway." Creekshine's heart felt weighed down as he said those words. "If she listens, tell her that I am prepared for her yowling," he mewed. "Nobody cares about me. I can't make anyone care." He closed his eyes, a single tear rolling down his face. Caring was something he held dearly in his heart. Love was just the same. If Lava could peak into his heart, he would see many thoughts and feelings of love, sadness, betrayal, and anger. His life was a mess, a mistake, a drag. "My life is like a discombobulated mess." Creekshine's tail lashed in anger. "Lava, you understand, right? I'm sensitive." Creekshine blinked at Lava. Stormver
"I care about you, every cat in this Can cares about you! And, yes..I understand. I used to have a mate, who discluded me all the time, and 'pretended' she loved me, so yes, I know eactly how it feels." He started. He placed his tail on the Soldiers shoulder. "Pushing a cat won't make them love you, you know.." Flamestar 22 01:55, January 19, 2015 (UTC)
Lava sighed, stretching out before letting out a silent noise of moaning. He didn't want Creekshine to feel alone, but he didn't want her to push Red to hard, either. Flamestar 22 02:12, January 19, 2015 (UTC)
"My heart thinks that nobody cares. It has never been clear to me," Creekshine meowed. He stood up, padding past Red. I don't care anymore. She won't do it anyway. He lashed his tail in anger as he passed. "Thanks for making me think nobody cares," he spat at Red. "You make me feel like fox dung." He padded off, walking out of the cave. "She means nothing anymore," he spat. "Nothing, unless she really cares inside. Ha! As if I believe that now!" Silently though, his mind was wailing that he would never have Red. That boiled into anger, even though inside, he still missed her. :Stormver
Red flattened her ears. "Sir," she began, narrowing her eyes. "It isn't my fault. If I don't love him, that's not my fault, it's his fault for pushing me to annoyance."Silverstar 20:49, January 19, 2015 (UTC)
"U-Uhm, yeah...Crimson does too." Red finished as she swiftly turned, marching off in embarrassment, pinning her ears to her skull. Great, Crimson'll never forgive me... She thought guiltily with a frown.Silverstar 02:05, January 21, 2015 (UTC)
((This needs to be archived.)) He blushed slightly, lowering his gaze. He shuffled his paws and heaved a breath. " I- I- I like you too...I just didn't want to tell you because...I wanted to avoid an awkward situation... " Flamestar 22 21:42, January 22, 2015 (UTC)
