Night purred as he looked at Moth. "Thank the Tribe of Endless Hunting," he sighed, staring into his daughter's eyes for the first time. --The mind is just a complicated machine 23:34, October 16, 2015 (UTC)

Moth blinked at her father, who had blue eyes, like her mother's. Holding his stare for a bit, and turned away, sniffing. " Where's Sorrel?"  Gryffindor 17:58, October 18, 2015 (UTC)

"What?" Sorrel heard her name being called, and she bounded down the side of Night's legs to see what it was. --The mind is just a complicated machine 18:01, October 18, 2015 (UTC)

" I'm Moth, your sister!" Moth said slowly, finding it weird seeing her littermate for the first time. She's nothing like what I imagined.  Gryffindor 18:24, October 18, 2015 (UTC)

Sorrel bounced on her paws. "Finally, I can play with someone!" The tortoiseshell she-cat waved one paw in the air boredly, before returning her gaze to Moth. --The mind is just a complicated machine 18:29, October 18, 2015 (UTC)

Moth hesitantly lowered herself out of the nest, testing her weight on her legs. Kit fuzz was around her eyes and her ticked fur was fluffy with youth. Bird gave her a little nudge and Moth slithered forwards, stopping a few tail-lengths away from her sister. "  What do you wanna play?"  Gryffindor 18:37, October 18, 2015 (UTC)

"I don't know..." Sorrel paused for a moment, trying to think of something. "...Ooooh, I know! You wanna play some Mossball?" --The mind is just a complicated machine 18:39, October 18, 2015 (UTC)

"... Mozboll? What's that?" Moth said slowly.  Gryffindor 18:41, October 18, 2015 (UTC)

(mozboll xDDDD) Sorrel shook her head slowly. "Come on, I'll show you," Soorel mewed, scampering over to the edge of the den. --The mind is just a complicated machine 18:43, October 18, 2015 (UTC)

(the intelligence of moth). Moth followed at a more hesitant and cautious pace, looking around the den. She reached the corner, staying away from the shadows, not entirely sure what they were.  Gryffindor 18:48, October 18, 2015 (UTC)

Sorrel waited for Moth. --The mind is just a complicated machine 03:08, October 19, 2015 (UTC)

Moth arrived, twitching her ears at Sorrel.  Gryffindor 18:52, October 19, 2015 (UTC)

"Come on!" Sorrel bounded out of the nursery, her fur bristling. --The mind is just a complicated machine 00:37, October 20, 2015 (UTC)

This was exhausting for Moth. The ticked tabby scrambled after her lively sister, excited, but not liking that her sister was telling her what to do. She looked up at the sky and gasped- it was so large, so blue!- and at the space that was their camp. She forced her small legs to move quicker, trying to keep up with Sorrel.  Gryffindor 00:59, October 20, 2015 (UTC)

Sorrel waited for Moth for a little bit, waiting for her sister to catch up. --The mind is just a complicated machine 01:03, October 20, 2015 (UTC)

"... I'm here." Moth panted, shaking her head. " What were you going to show me again?"  Gryffindor 01:04, October 20, 2015 (UTC)

Sorrel thought for a moment. "Oh yeah! I was going to show you how to play Mossball!" --The mind is just a complicated machine 01:08, October 20, 2015 (UTC)

" Moz- bal..." Moth said slowly, testing out the pronounciation. Her eyes brightened. " Okay! Let's play!" she crouched down playfully.  Gryffindor 01:09, October 20, 2015 (UTC)

"Just gotta fetch something..." Sorrel went down to the nook where she kept her ball of moss nearby, and she brought it out, clasping it in her jaws. --The mind is just a complicated machine 01:11, October 20, 2015 (UTC)

" Ewww!" Moth yelped, springing backwards and failing epically, landing on her side. She sprang up and curled her lip in disgust. " What is that?"  Gryffindor 01:12, October 20, 2015 (UTC)

"It's moss," Sorrel mewed, prodding the ball with a paw. --The mind is just a complicated machine 01:13, October 20, 2015 (UTC)

Moth sniffed it cautiously, eventually deciding she could trust it. " So we play Mozball with this... Moss?"  Gryffindor 01:20, October 20, 2015 (UTC)

Sorrel nodded eagerly. "Yeah! You've got to try and catch the ball." Sorrel then picked up the ball back in her jaws. --The mind is just a complicated machine 03:10, October 20, 2015 (UTC)

Moth waited for Sorrel to release it, eyes slitted slightly and tail waving for balance as she crouched.  Gryffindor 22:30, October 20, 2015 (UTC)

Eagle sat inside of his den, hearing the kits playing before sighing. He had no heir, and if he died...Well, bad things would happen.Stormstar 22:32, October 20, 2015 (UTC)

Sorrel tossed the ball. --The mind is just a complicated machine 09:00, October 21, 2015 (UTC)

Moth jumped for the ball and pounced on it.  Gryffindor 22:13, October 21, 2015 (UTC)

Flame sat in camp, twitching an ear boredly. sticks and stones may break my bones but words just might kill me. 13:36, October 31, 2015 (UTC)

Moth missed the mossball and chased it as it rolled across the floor. Gryffindor 14:01, October 31, 2015 (UTC)

Flame watched Moth and sat outside, purring in satisfaction. "Looks like you're having alot of fun," He murmered, cocking his head. sticks and stones may break my bones but words just might kill me. 14:04, October 31, 2015 (UTC)

" What?" Moth squeaked, putting a paw on the mossball. " Oh, yeah. It's fun!"  Gryffindor 14:07, October 31, 2015 (UTC)

Flame smiled at Moth, purring with satisfaction. "Mossball, hmm? Seems to be the kits' favorite game these days." sticks and stones may break my bones but words just might kill me. 14:08, October 31, 2015 (UTC)

Moth cocked her speckled head to one side. " What's favourite?"  Gryffindor 14:10, October 31, 2015 (UTC)

Flame contiuned to purr. "Mossball is favored by most kits," He replied, drawing a paw over his ears. "Something you prefer over others." sticks and stones may break my bones but words just might kill me. 14:12, October 31, 2015 (UTC)

Moth frowned slightly, tail swishing over the ground. " What's prefer?"  Gryffindor 14:15, October 31, 2015 (UTC)

Flame looked away, growing slightly annoyed. "Eh, nevermind. But yeah. Have fun playing Mossball." sticks and stones may break my bones but words just might kill me. 14:16, October 31, 2015 (UTC)

" What's nevermind?" Moth squeaked, curious and fascinated at the strange words Flame was saying. But then she grabbed the mossball and trotted away.  Gryffindor 14:17, October 31, 2015 (UTC)

Flame blinked blankly, and snarled codly under his breath in frusteration. That troll.. oh well. (XDDD) sticks and stones may break my bones but words just might kill me. 14:19, October 31, 2015 (UTC)

(cats don't even know what trolls are lol). Moth didn't notice the snarl, but Bird- who's ever watchful blue eyes were on her kits- did. She got up and marched over to the tom, eyes flashing and fur bristling. " What did you just do to my kit?"   Gryffindor 14:21, October 31, 2015 (UTC)

Flame backed away, blinking in confusion. "Uhhh, I didn't do anything," He snarled, narrowing his eyes sharply and stomping away. sticks and stones may break my bones but words just might kill me. 14:23, October 31, 2015 (UTC)

" I heard you snarl at her," Bird snapped, tail beginning to lash as she entered protective-mother mode. "  Don't you dare snarl at any of my family- especially my kits- ever again." She watched him stalk away with a cold satisfaction, marching back to her kits and sitting beside them protectively.  Gryffindor 14:25, October 31, 2015 (UTC)

Flame let out a growl, and snarled one thing back before exiting camp. "Well, maybe you should teach your kit what words mean!" sticks and stones may break my bones but words just might kill me. 14:28, October 31, 2015 (UTC)

" Maybe you should grow up!" Bird called back defiantly, very angry. She turned her back on the entrance, not wanting to engage in furthur arguing with that tom.  Gryffindor 14:29, October 31, 2015 (UTC)

Reeds That Grow by River quietly stalked a mouse, her thoughts getting mixed with her memories from the battle. Stupid Burn, having kits with that she-cat. Good thing he died, they got together even though the she-cat's Clan and his faction were enemies. I remember hearing that their kits died anyway, though I think that she-cat didn't deserve to have her kits killed by that rogue. "I hope you understand. I want to understand. I'm sorry." -Peridot, Steven Universe 15:39, November 1, 2015 (UTC)

Moon felt his hackles raise with fear as Eagle led him to what was to be his new home. At one point, all of the cats had been his Tribe's enemies, but now, he was their heir, their future leader.Stormstar 20:30, November 1, 2015 (UTC)

Trotting back to her home, Reed jumped as she spotted Moon. "And who is this, Eagle?"

"I hope you understand. I want to understand. I'm sorry." -Peridot, Steven Universe 01:37, November 2, 2015 (UTC)

Eagle narrowed his eyes, keeping his son close. "This is Moon, your very Heir, so I suggest you show some respect to him, after all, he's your future leader."Stormstar 02:34, November 2, 2015 (UTC)

"Are you saying you had kits with someone?" Reed couldn't hold in the attitude. "With whom, leader?" "I hope you understand. I want to understand. I'm sorry." -Peridot, Steven Universe 23:43, November 2, 2015 (UTC)

Eagle narrowed his eyes coldly. "My personal life is none of your business, walk away, that's an order."Stormstar 23:59, November 2, 2015 (UTC)

Flame let out a yawn, and laid down by a thick patch of ferns. He carefully curled his tail around his paws, and laid his head down. sticks and stones may break my bones but words just might kill me. 00:02, November 3, 2015 (UTC)

Reed held in a growl, casting an angry look at Moon and Eagle before turning. Goodness, that wasn't a nice intro. "I hope you understand. I want to understand. I'm sorry." -Peridot, Steven Universe 00:11, November 3, 2015 (UTC)

Flame flicked an ear and quickly shot his head up, hearing the loud growl of his leader. Ugh.. what could he possibly be buffering up about now? sticks and stones may break my bones but words just might kill me. 00:13, November 3, 2015 (UTC)

"Because you were trained the ways of a regular soldier in a completely different faction...-" Eagle began, pacing inside his den while his son casually sat by the entrance. "-...you'll basically have to start over in your training. You know the basics of hunting and fighting, however, you must learn to be a good and fair leader."Stormstar 00:16, November 3, 2015 (UTC)

Flame let out a sigh, and padded towards the leader's den. He sat outside, his whiskers twitching with amusement. Ooh, the leader has a son.. How interesting. sticks and stones may break my bones but words just might kill me. 00:18, November 3, 2015 (UTC)

Eagle stopped, twitching his tail tip in irritation. Since when was his personal life such a gossip that every single cat had to stick their nose into? Had his Tribemates no respect?! "Whoever is outside of my den, you are dismissed, this is a private conversation for me and my son only."Stormstar 00:23, November 3, 2015 (UTC)

Flame narrowed his eyes, keeping still and quiet. He moved himself along the edge of the den, quietly scowling to himself as he stepped on his tail. sticks and stones may break my bones but words just might kill me. 00:26, November 3, 2015 (UTC)

Annoyed, Eagle turned back to his son. "Seeing that my own Tribe holds no respect, we will be taking these private matters out of camp. Come along, Moon." Pushing his way out of his den, Moon trotted after his father, leaving the camp behind him.Stormstar 00:28, November 3, 2015 (UTC)

Flame snorted and padded back into the ???? den. sticks and stones may break my bones but words just might kill me. 00:34, November 3, 2015 (UTC)

Moon eyed his father once they were quite a distance from camp. "Sooo....is it like, a custom for your heir to have a mother in a different faction." Eagle shook his head, a little offended by his heir's comment. "No, I had no mate...Your mother and I made a deal: she wanted to give her sister some foster kits, and I needed a heir. So yeah." He paused to take a breath. "My brother, Crow, tried to kill me and took over as leader, which is why our rankings are based off of the ancients. I decided against converting my tribe back, seeing that we are now thriving, and everyone's so used to their current positions, seeing that they hunt, fight, and heal."Stormstar 00:58, November 3, 2015 (UTC)

(purple makes it hard to seeeee) Moth stared at the new tom and made a face at his scent. Bird whacked her lightly with her tail, telling her to mind her manners. Gryffindor 04:50, November 6, 2015 (UTC)

Flame padded through the camp, his tail-tip flicking. sticks and stones may break my bones but words just might kill me. 19:34, November 6, 2015 (UTC)

(wren needs her sharpclaw stuff done, she's of age) Wren trotted around camp, while Sorrel cocked her head at Moon. "Who's that?" --The mind is just a complicated machine 19:36, November 6, 2015 (UTC)

" I don't know..." Moth squeaked, wriggling around in her mother's hold. " D'you think he's coming to live with us? Oh, look! It's that tom!" She pointed at Flame with her tail.  Gryffindor 19:48, November 6, 2015 (UTC)

Flame narrowed his eyes and grunted. Oh great.. Now I'm going to get yelled at by a mother who can't teach her kit one thing. sticks and stones may break my bones but words just might kill me. 19:50, November 6, 2015 (UTC)

" That guy's my friend!" Moth squeaked, breaking free from her mother and skittering across the floor. Bird lunged a second too late, her teeth clicked shut on empty air as Moth bounded forwards to meet Flame.  Gryffindor 19:53, November 6, 2015 (UTC)

Flame snorted and whisked his tail across the ground. I'm not a friend of a clueless half-born kit! His tail-tip twitching in annoyance, he came face to face with the small she-kit. "Erm.. Hi." sticks and stones may break my bones but words just might kill me. 19:56, November 6, 2015 (UTC)

" Hi!" Moth said, twitching her tail. " Can you teach me more words?"--- Bird watched Flame carefully.  Gryffindor 19:57, November 6, 2015 (UTC)

Flame flattened his ears. "That's not my job," He meowed strictly, flicking an ear. "Ask your mother. She's the one who knows more than you, afterall." sticks and stones may break my bones but words just might kill me. 20:00, November 6, 2015 (UTC)

Moth frowned in disappointment. " Aww, fine. But I thought you were my friend. I guess I was wrong." The ticked kit stomped away to her sister and mother.  Gryffindor 20:05, November 6, 2015 (UTC)

Flame rolled his eyes and padded away. Good riddens. That kit is more annoying than a pack of foxes! sticks and stones may break my bones but words just might kill me. 20:07, November 6, 2015 (UTC)

Shine leaned into Crow's side, taking in the prisoner's scent with a quick breath. She closed her amber eyes as he shifted closwer, protectively wrapping his tail around the molly. The ginger she-cat moved her head to look up at the tom she loved so dearly, her amber gaze calm, but demanding. "Crow," she began gently, "you know we cannot be together, you're nothing but a prisoner now..." The dark-pelted tom let out a soft growl, flexing his claws. "They don't have to know, they can't tell me what to do. I love you, Shine, and that's all that matters, and I...I...I won't let anything happen to you."Stormstar 00:33, November 15, 2015 (UTC)

( can derp haunt crow's dreams just bc?) Moth was tired up beinf cooped up in the cage. The ticked kit ruffled her fur before making a bold descision. Checking that her mother wasn't watching, she slipped through the entrance and headed outside of camp. She blinked up in wonder at the sky, feeling a burst of freedom and cavorting about. Suddenly, she spotted the edge a dangerous section of moss-covered rock and pricked her ears, running forwards and deciding to climb them.  Gryffindor 00:44, November 15, 2015 (UTC)

(sorry, but no, he's basically obsessed with Shine) Shine cast Crow a confused glance. "...I'm fine, Crow, why are you so much like this? You've been fretting over me constantly lately." The black tom flattened his ears and looked away. "...I had a dream about you, Shine...About your death, and I cannot let it happen, no-one shall hurt you."Stormstar 00:48, November 15, 2015 (UTC)

(idc. i just miss having an excuse to derp in rp). Moth's claws dripped the moss as she tried to navigate her way across the rocks. Her heart was pounding with the thrill of adventure.  Gryffindor 00:52, November 15, 2015 (UTC)

Shine frowned before pressing her face back into his thick black fur. "...I won't leave you, Crow, I promise." She murmured softly before wrapping her tail around his. Crow starred down at his love interest with an intense blue gaze. "...Then be my mate." The molly looked up at him, alarmed. "My brother can't say anything if he doesn't know, it'll be our secret, I promise." Shine shut her jaws before going silent, eventually touching her muzzle to his. "...Then let's be mates, Crow."Stormstar 00:54, November 15, 2015 (UTC)

Moth nearly slipped but managed to save herself just in time. Panting, she stood there and admired the view from where she'd managed to navigate herself. Then, suddenly, she heard a snarl. A large weasel-like creature was running at her. Moth screamed in horror, but the weasel was on her before she could do anything. Out of adrenaline, she lashed out with a paw and managed to connect with the thing. It snarled and suddenly turned and loped away, but left at a cost. Moth's scream of asgony pierced the air, her leg manlged and gushing blood.  Gryffindor 01:00, November 15, 2015 (UTC)

"Shine, I love you so-" The black tom cut himself off as a screech rang in his ears. "What was that?" Shine was already on her paws and racing out of camp. Crow wanted to follow, but if he left the camp, he'd probably be killed by his brother.Stormstar 01:04, November 15, 2015 (UTC)

Moth?!?! Bird's ears pricked and she was speeding out of camp after Shine. " My- Moth!" she shrieked shrilly, picking up the scent trail and running faster than she ever had in her life. When she found her daughter lying stretched out and bloodstained, Bird howled in grief and crouched beside her. " Moth!!"  Gryffindor 01:06, November 15, 2015 (UTC)

Shine skidded to a halt at the bloody kit and Bird, angling her ears towards camp. "Hurry, get her back to camp, we have all of the cobwebs there."Stormstar 01:09, November 15, 2015 (UTC)

But Bird stood immobilized. " Her leg...." she gasped, while Mith writhed in pain. Galvanized into action, she hoisted her daughter on her shoulders and went back to camp as fast as she dared. Gryffindor 01:20, November 15, 2015 (UTC)

Reed pricked her ears at the sight of Bird rushing in with Moth. "Oh, why did Nightgazer have to die?!?" she growled to herself, dashing over to the injured she-cat. "What happened, Bird?" Panic held her voice, the sharpclaw shaking at the shock of seeing Moth like this... "I hope you understand. I want to understand. I'm sorry." -Peridot, Steven Universe 15:14, November 15, 2015 (UTC)

" I don't know, I don't know!" Bird's voice rose into hysteria. Moth was bleeding heavily, her frail body slipping into unconsciousness. " We need a healer, or somebody! I don't know what to do!" (whatever happens, Moth's leg needs to be amputated).  Gryffindor 15:30, November 15, 2015 (UTC)

"What about the other Tribe? They've got a healer, right?!?" Reed frantically paced, her gaze on the ground and her eyes worried. "I hope you understand. I want to understand. I'm sorry." -Peridot, Steven Universe 15:34, November 15, 2015 (UTC)

"We're sharpclaws, we all know about herbs, unless you guys never finished your training." Shine pointed out.Stormstar 15:38, November 15, 2015 (UTC)

(wait, what? they know about herbs??) Bird was in a state of emotional distress, quite obviously. She began to pace, ignoring Shine's comment and Reed. " I don't care! My daughter is going to die and I need help!  Gryffindor 15:53, November 15, 2015 (UTC)

(Yeah, that's why they have no healer) "Get her to camp, now. The other tribe is at last a day's travel away, there's no way she'd make it." Shine ordered quickly.Stormstar 16:02, November 15, 2015 (UTC)

(okie) Bird nodded, to upset to be the one giving orders. She gently grabbed Moth's scruff and set off at a brisk walk, careful to keep the mangled leg from touching the ground. Could there be infection? Moth cried out in her sleep  Gryffindor 16:04, November 15, 2015 (UTC)

"Hurry now," Shine murmured as she lengthened her strides, forcing her way into camp. Crow poked his head out of his den, watching Shine hurry off. His blue eyes clouded with confusion, wondering what she was up to.Stormstar 17:32, November 15, 2015 (UTC)

Bird nodded and, upon reaching camp, set Moth down on the floor. " What'll happen to her?"  Gryffindor 17:35, November 15, 2015 (UTC)

Shine didn't respond, studying the leg with a narrowed gaze. She then took in a deep breath. "...I....It may have to come off, Bird."Stormstar 17:36, November 15, 2015 (UTC)

" WHAT?!" Bird shrieked. " Come off? Why?"  Gryffindor 17:40, November 15, 2015 (UTC)

"It's done for, the wounds are too deep and too great. Keeping it on will only give her a terrible infection, and kill her for sure." Shine finished with a sigh.Stormstar 17:41, November 15, 2015 (UTC)

"Bird looked sick. " Who'll take it off?" she eyed everyone in the room mistrustfully. " I-I'll do it myself."  Gryffindor 17:43, November 15, 2015 (UTC)

Light sat grooming his pelt quietly; the tom had joined not long ago and preferred to go by his loner named Arthur.— Ryewhisker 16:24, November 19, 2015 (UTC)

(let'ssaynightistherewithhismate) Night sighed, shooting a sad look at his mate and eldest daughter. "...I don't know..." Meanwhile, Wren paced around frantically. (she was meant to be a sharpclaw over two weeks ago, should I just say she became one or...?) --The mind is just a complicated machine 04:02, November 20, 2015 (UTC)

"Alright, if you're going to do it, do it quickly. Once you remove her limb, keep it above her heart to slow the bloodflow, wrap it immediately as well." Turning, Shine quickly left, her eyes clouding with worry as Crow peered from his den, nuzzling her gently as she approached.Stormstar 18:00, November 21, 2015 (UTC)

Bird nodded slowly, eyes wide in anguish. Revulsion rose in her stomach before pushing it down. The ginger-and-white cat knew it was her daughter's only chance, the leg was mutilated beyond healing. It bled heavily, and Bird was worried it would get infected. I'm sorry, Moth,, she thought before plunging her muzzle down onto her daughter's leg and severing it with two swift bites.--- Moth screamed in agony before going unconscious once more. Gryffindor 18:11, November 21, 2015 (UTC)

Shine flinched at the cry before pushing her muzzle into Crow's fur, clsoing her eyes.18:18, November 21, 2015 (UTC)

"... I'm so sorry..." Bird sobbed. Through her pain, she applied cobwebs and salve to the terrible wound. The she-cat pressed against Night, shaking with emotion. To see her daughter lying there... so still.... so vulnerable... it was extremely traumatic.--- Moth remained unconscious, though she would certainly wake up later on.  Gryffindor 22:43, November 24, 2015 (UTC)

Eagle summoned his tribe. " Sorrel, you have reached the age of eight moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. Your mentor will be Flame. I hope Flame will pass down all he knows on to you." Because Moth was crippled, he decided not to hold her ceremony...or at least not yet.Stormstar 22:14, November 29, 2015 (UTC)

Once Moth had woken to find herself crippled, without a leg, and extremely weak from blood less, Bird had had to explain. It hurt her so, so bad to see Moth lying there half-dead with angry, dull eyes. The anger scared her. Moth looked so pent-up, like a snake ready to strike. When she'd finished, Bird had scurried out for the ceremony. Her pride in Sorrel was clouded by Moth's state, though she purred loudly and licked her daughter afterwards.--- This is stupid. I can't move, I can't talk, it hurts so bad. What is this? And my leg, it's throbbing, throbbing all the time. So is my head. I hate. This. All! She caught Eagle's ceremony words and bit back a yowl of rage. It's not fair! I want to be apprenticed, too!  Gryfflepuff 02:54, December 2, 2015 (UTC)

Shine gently rested her head against Crow's chest as they sat togther in the prisoner's den. Meanwhile, Moon returned to camp, standing tall as he carried an eagle in his jaws, followed by Falcon and a few other sharpclaws.Stormstar 22:02, December 12, 2015 (UTC)

(logically, a cat wouldn't be able to carry an eagle in their jaws, just saying' c:) Bird was one of the sharpclaws, having left, unable to bear seeing Moth in her helpless state. She added her contribution, a snow hare, before sitting down beside her mate.--- Moth struggled to stand up, frail and weak now. Her frustration and irritation at being confined to the ground. She was so furious at her helpless, weak state that she stabbed the ground with her thin claws and one broke off.  Gryfflepuff 23:11, December 12, 2015 (UTC)

Snow squnited at the sun shining on her face. She rolled underneath a boulder which let shade fall over her. She yelped suddenly as the pebbles under her slid and she rolled down a ledge and landed with a thud. "Ow." 🍁Patchfeather🍁 23:43, December 17, 2015 (UTC)

Jay that Flies with Eagles padded from her den to the pile of fresh kill. Her joints creaked as she did, making her walk slowly, trying not to show her pain. It had suddenly flared up particularly badly again, she'd have to try and seek out some daisies again for their leaves. Not that many grew up on the mountains, of course. Usually she could just ignore it, but when it flared up moving around camp could be hard. Still, she enjoyed hunting when she could, hoping that she didn't hold the others back. She hoped the others didn't resent the days she spend denbound, unable to move further than the fresh kill. She at the least tried to make up for it on days when she didn't ache. " Hi Jay," Bird said from her spot beside Night. Her blue eyes that were so clouded with worry lit up at the sight of the catch. Ever since Moth's injury, the young cat had seemed to age. For the longest time, Crow had been speaking with Amber, and slowly but surely, she had turned him into a dark and evil cat. And now, he planned to kill Eagle. And Moon? Pah, the tom would be a piece of cake, he just needed to kill off Eagle first.Stormstar 20:12, January 10, 2016 (UTC)

"Crow, please, this is nonsense! This isn't you, I love you, and we can and will be happy!" She cried, pressing her muzzle against him. Crow simply kicked his mate aside, his eyes dark before he growled, "this has to be done." Moons later, Moon was still leader, and his heir, who had been born the day of his father's death, was 12 moons of age. However, Moon was disgusted by the structure of his Tribe. Sharpclaws? Softpaws? He wanted it to be like a Clan, after all, he had come to believe in StarClan. But he feared changing it, as he already saw himself as a poor leader...thus, it was time for him to step down and let his son take over.

The young tom's ears perked up at his father's mew. He knew what Moon's voice sounded like when he was about to say something important- deep, and very serious. "Yes, father, what is it? Is something wrong?" He asked, his pretty golden-gray eyes slanted with puzzlement and the barest hint of worry. Lost in the Darkness... 21:25, January 16, 2016 (UTC)

Moon held his breath. "...I hate the structure of our tribe, son. I'm a poor leader, I admire the clans, but I cannot do anything correct. For a few moments, Fox just stared at his tired father. His mind raced- he knew this day would come, as he was the heir, but he didn't expect it to be so soon. He was barely a Sharpclaw! What if something went wrong? What if he did something irreversible? What if... what if... what if... Fox breathed in, and let it out quietly. He had to be strong. This was his job, his honor, his duty. He could not escape it. Eventually the lean tom hesitantly nodded, and tried his best to keep his meow from shaking. But his eyes were wide enough to show his shock. "I promise I will, father, even if it costs me my life. I will fix our tribe for you." He murmured. Fox waited until the commotion died down, and flicked his tail. "Cats of The Falling Stars." He called out, feeling a rush of adrenaline underneath his fur. "As my first duty as your leader, I have something important to announce. My father discussed this with me before he stepped down, and now it is time to discuss it with you." He took a deep breath, and said clearly, "We have lived for many, many long seasons. We've been through the good and bad, thick and thin, together as tribemates. But what if we could be something more, something higher? We could be clanmates. We could live in a Clan, with our Warriors, Apprentices, Queens and Elders. We would live under StarClan; I know some of you in the crowd do believe in StarClan already." He added. "This conversion from Tribe to Clan would not be immediate; the clans work differently, and we would have to work hard, with every tooth, claw, and muscle we have. It is Moon's wish for me to change the tribe, fix it and tame it to be a clan. To make things right again..." He paused, the realization of his speech hitting him between the eyes. He understood that not everyone would agree with what he said. He swallowed and prepared for the onslaught of questions and anger. "However, I would not take this decision lightly; I need to know how you feel about this, Cats of The Falling Stars. It is a decision we must make together." Jay gasped in surprise, the news sudden and unexpected. A Clan? How could we ever be a Clan? she thought, wondering how hard the transition would be. His eyes shone as he rested them on Jay. "Jay, step forward." (That's your cue, Leopard! <3) Lost in the Darkness... 03:07, January 22, 2016 (UTC)

(Fox is only naming a Deputy for now; he's going to wait a little bit on an MC.) Lost in the Darkness... 03:48, January 22, 2016 (UTC)

(blazey, she'd probably be older than that due to the timeskip) Sorrel bounced on her paws at the announcement that the Tribe would be converting to a Clan. --The mind is just a complicated machine 03:56, January 22, 2016 (UTC)

(thanks chaps! <3 so sorry I've not been on so much the last few days!) Jay blinked up at Fox. The newcomer had been a distraction, but now Fox had returned to his earlier speech. She was confused for a moment - why had he singled her out, unless? She stepped forward and dipped her head to him, feeling every cat's eyes on her as she said "Yes, Fox?" Fox purred. "As some of you know, the clans do not have heirs. Instead, they have deputies, cats who help the leader keep the clan running smoothly, and would become leader should something happen to me." He gazed at Jay with kindly eyes. "And I can think of no better warrior for the job than the cat before you, Jay that Flies with Eagles. Jay is optimistic, empathetic, and brave. She knows when to be firm, and when to be calm. Her loyalty is unwavering. Jay, do accept this important role, and the responsibility that goes with it?" Lost in the Darkness... 21:25, January 22, 2016 (UTC)

Bird rounded her eyes as Jay got called up, but believed the she-cat thoroughly deserved it.--- Moth, in the shadows, turned to watch the ceremony. Ready to watch more glorifying of others, Moth? This'll be fun! Lost souls in reverie 22:16, January 22, 2016 (UTC)

Night nodded as Jay got called up: he felt this was a wise decision. I wouldn't have been picked, anyway... I'll most likely retire once this Clan has formed. --The mind is just a complicated machine 22:39, January 22, 2016 (UTC)

Jay breathed in audibly as she processed Fox's words. The deputy! She paused, surprise leaving her wordless for a moment. "It would be my pleasure to serve as your deputy, Fox. I am truly honoured that you'd even consider me, and I am humbled to accept. Though, if I am to be your deputy, I should prefer to be known as Jayflight." The Warrior Code! something hissed within her. Moth slowly spun around and watched Fox, but her mind wasn't in her eyes. Clan cats have a code. Will we follow it, too? she thought, but didn't ask the question aloud. (would be awesome if they made their own code). Lost souls in reverie 19:40, January 23, 2016 (UTC)

(should I archive this on my next post? this is getting rlly long) Sorrel pricked hr ears at Jay's words. She's taking on a Clan name... How many more of this Tribe would? Of course she would take one on, but she wasn't sure about the rest of her family, or Tribe for that matter. --The mind is just a complicated machine 19:45, January 23, 2016 (UTC)

"Very well, Jayflight." Fox said, eyes shining. He knew he had made the right choice- and the stars seemed to twinkle approvingly above. Lost in the Darkness... 20:08, January 23, 2016 (UTC)

" Are we going to follow a warrior code?" Moth burst out, but this time there was no antagonism in her stare. Lost souls in reverie 20:10, January 23, 2016 (UTC)

Wren twitched her tail in approval. --The mind is just a complicated machine 20:20, January 23, 2016 (UTC)

Jayflight nodded to Fox, grateful that he was the leader. He was what the Tribe - no, Clan needed, and she only hoped his trust in her was not misplaced. She smiled at the acceptance of her new name, though it would take a while to get used to it, she knew. As Moth spoke she glanced over, imagining that Fox would say yes to her question. Ember's eyes gleamed with joy, despite not being made the deputy. She hadn't cared anyways, she never saw herself as a highly positioned cat, she was no leader. She was a warrior, a hard worker. "Should you start on your journey to get your nine lives soon, Fox?"Stormstar 19:33, January 24, 2016 (UTC)
