Shadowpelt is a small, ambitious, sleek black tom with amber eyes and multiple scars scattered throughout his pelt. His parents are Birchstar and Cardinalblaze, his older littermates being Stormrage, Emberwish, and Scarletflame, and his younger littermates being Mintfrost and Phoenixflame.

- A stone cold heart of coal black darkness is what fills this dark-coated tom, his dark pale yellow eyes revealing only pain and misfortune. He is short-tempered, annoyed easily, and will snap at you just to get what he wants. He's a mysterious cat of few words, always keeping to himself, and watching from afar. Nobody really knows him, and few probably even want to know him. He finds much comfort in the darkness, knowing that it's about the only thing that really suits him.
- Shadowpelt is often quiet and content, keeping his ideas and opinions to himself. If somone hates him, he'll definetely hate them back, and it will often result in a huge arguement. Oddly when a cat dies, he feels nothing, as if he didn't have any feelings.

- Shadowpelt always thought that Birchstar ignored him with everything he said and did, and most of all, thought he didn't want anything to do with him. He always believed that Birchstar made Stormstar the superior of the family, and usually disagreed with his father and started arguements with him constantly. Shadowpelt, at this point, wants nothing to do with him, and really deep down believes that Birchstar just doesn't care, and he feels like an outcast to him compared to Stormstar.
