Acornkit glanced up, hazel eyes dark. "Hi," he said, brows drawing together. "Slow, I want to be apprenticed already. That way I can go out of camp." He wanted to go hunting with Morningpaw show her it was possible to still do the things she thought she couldn't. (Insert Sarcasm)Bite Me, Dean! 14:42, April 20, 2017 (UTC)

"I remember when I was a kit, it seemed like it was taking a life time to finally be made an apprentice," Pyreflight mewed, sympathetic. "But don't worry, it'll come soon enough." He paused. "You know, I could probably take you out of camp for a walk, show you a bit of our territory." ~Patchfeather~ 20:58, April 30, 2017 (UTC)

Boa yawned as she strolled out of the nursery, her soft eyes looked around the clearing, it had been a moon since the lost of her daughter, but she only had her daughter Pale. Boa looked down at her paws, then looked up at the sky, but as she turned away from the sky she looked around at the other cats. They all had friends, mates. Things like that, but she didn't have a mate nor friends...who would want to be friends with a she-cat like her? Who couldn't speak. BlackswanWhiteswan (talk) 21:03, May 1, 2017 (UTC)

Aspenfern licked Galekit's head gently, watching Owlkit wheeze. She felt an instant stroke of worry engulf her, and she pulled him closer to her. "Are you okay, Owlkit?" it's time to start defying gravity, my love 22:13, May 1, 2017 (UTC)

Boa herd the weezing just outside the den, turning to look back she saw Aspenfern, Galekit and Owlkit. Her sad eyes watched Owlkit. Walking over, she looked at the Queen, and mouthed. "Is he okay?" || Pale, daughter of Boa walked into the den. "Mama?" her blind silver eyes stared into nothing. BlackswanWhiteswan (talk) 22:35, May 1, 2017 (UTC)BlackswanWhiteswan

Shadowkit slept soundlessly next to Frostkit, pressed closely to her silver brother. Their father, now the temporary deputy, was busy organizing search parties and border patrols. He was thankful that his kittens were sleeping. They were getting much bigger, and much harder to keep under control, seeing that he was single parent. Windstorm set the final patrol out, before stalking into the nursery and laying beside his sleeping kittens. He imagined that they'd awaken shortly.Stormstar 00:45, May 2, 2017 (UTC)

"Its only taking a lifetime now because Alderstar is missing and Aspenfern is busy with whatever it is a deputy does." He said cooly. Of course, he was sure Aspenfern was in charge of the leader duties and he hadn't seen a ceremony yet. (Insert Sarcasm)Bite Me, Dean! 14:03, May 4, 2017 (UTC)

Silverpaw and Swiftpaw, the new apprentices,(who now need mentors) were bounding around excitedly in camp. "Let's go make our nests," Swiftpaw told his sis. They trotted off, and Rainheart watched them. --- Blossomheart was hunting and she caught a whiff of...squirrel! She dropped into a hunting crouch. The squirrel was nibbling a nut at the roots of a tree. If she messed up, it would climb. She crept towards it slowly, and pushed hard off the ground, landing on the unsuspecting squirrel. She killed, and began to bring it back. -Attack cat

(Sapphireclaw could mentor one) "I'm sure it won't be long now. Aspenfern is caring for kits along with the Clan, it's time-eating and stressful." Pyreflight meowed, wondering how the deputy must feel, having so many duties. ~Patchfeather~ 13:57, May 16, 2017 (UTC)

(thanks) Blossomheart entered camp, and dropped the squirrel on the fresh-kill pile. She then laid down in the sunshine of the camp, and began to clean herself. -Attack cat

Minnowpaw padded into camp, her fur still neatly groomed. She dropped a small mouse on the fresh-kill pile and sat down. The small she-cat looked around, looking bored and nervous as ever. Blue b e y o n d d i m e n t i o n s 23:35, May 20, 2017 (UTC)

Sapphireclaw padded over to the apprentice den, calling to her apprentice. ---- Littlepaw padded out of the elders den, his nose wrinkled in disgust. He had just finished using mouse-bile to clean the elders ticks. He spotted Minnowpaw, rushing over, then remembering he smelled horrible. "Hey Minnowpaw! Oh - sorry I stink. I'm going to the stream to wash now." ~Patchfeather~ 23:37, May 20, 2017 (UTC)

Minnowpaw jumped, looking startled for a moment. "Oh hi, Littlepaw. I can come with you, if you'd like." She replied, taking a few steps back. "No offense," she added quickly, looking at her paws. Blue b e y o n d d i m e n t i o n s 23:41, May 20, 2017 (UTC)

Littlepaw nodded, his heart feeling lighter. "Of course you can come! Maybe just walk a tail-length away so I don't stink up your fur," he mewed, with another disgusted sniff. "Let's go!" Littlepaw padded towards the camp entrance. ~Patchfeather~ 23:45, May 20, 2017 (UTC)

Minnowpaw padded a bit behind him, her whiskers twitched. "So, how was cleaning out the elders den?" She asked, tilting her head. Blue b e y o n d d i m e n t i o n s 23:49, May 20, 2017 (UTC)

"Ehh..." Littlepaw tossed his head. "It wasn't bad, I mean, tick cleaning was bad, but they told stories, so that was cool." He spotted a shallow stream and veered toward it. "How've you been today?" ~Patchfeather~ 23:53, May 20, 2017 (UTC)

"Oh um, I've been alright I guess. I went hunting, only caught a small mouse though... So, I'll probably try again or skip eating for today." She replied, glancing around. Blue b e y o n d d i m e n t i o n s 23:56, May 20, 2017 (UTC)

Littlepaw plunged into the stream, surprised to find it reached his belly fur. His ears flicked toward Minnowpaw in surprise. "Nonsense! I can catch you some prey, if you want." ~Patchfeather~ 00:01, May 21, 2017 (UTC)

Minnowpaw shook her head. "No way, I'll be alright." She replied, flicking her tail, Blue b e y o n d d i m e n t i o n s 00:06, May 21, 2017 (UTC)

After scrubbing his paws good, Littlepaw padded out of the stream. "We can hunt together. I haven't eaten yet." ~Patchfeather~ 00:08, May 21, 2017 (UTC)

Minnowpaw gently wove around him, her eyes dull. "Hm, if you want to we can." She replied, glancing up at him. Blue b e y o n d d i m e n t i o n s 00:12, May 21, 2017 (UTC)

Littlepaw nodded, feeling a twinge of worry biting at the back of his head. Was Minnowpaw hurt? Was she just tired? She didn't seem to be acting herself. "Are you okay?" he asked, softly. ~Patchfeather~ 00:15, May 21, 2017 (UTC)

"Are you okay?" She asked. tilting her head and looking concerned. Blue b e y o n d d i m e n t i o n s 00:21, May 21, 2017 (UTC)

"I'm fine," Littlepaw mewed, flicking his tail. "But I'm wondering if you're okay." He didn't know how to explain it to her. "Are you tired?" ~Patchfeather~ 00:25, May 21, 2017 (UTC)

"Of course I'm okay, why wouldn't I be?" She replied, gently nuzzling his cheek. She looked at him and sighed, "you don't need to worry, I'd tell you if something was wrong.." She added softly. Blue b e y o n d d i m e n t i o n s 00:36, May 21, 2017 (UTC)

Littlepaw rubbed his muzzle along her cheek, letting out a quiet purr. He trusted Minnowpaw, but what if in the future she didn't tell him, for his own good. What if she thought it'd worry him too much? He didn't voice his worries. Right now, he was just happy to be by her side. ~Patchfeather~ 00:43, May 21, 2017 (UTC)

Minnowpaw purred softly and glanced around. "So, how have you been lately?" She asked, titling her head slightly. Blue b e y o n d d i m e n t i o n s 00:50, May 21, 2017 (UTC)

"Good," Littlepaw replied. He had been busy with training, taking away time to spend with Minnowpaw. It was killing him on the inside. "Training is going well, but I'm glad to hang out with you finally. It feels like the last time we did was ages ago." ~Patchfeather~ 00:54, May 21, 2017 (UTC)

"It's okay darling, I understand. We knew we'd both be busy when we became apprentices.." She replied, pressing against him. Blue b e y o n d d i m e n t i o n s 00:59, May 21, 2017 (UTC)

Littlepaw nodded, feeling a little more relaxed. "I just wish we could always be together, you know?" ~Patchfeather~ 01:03, May 21, 2017 (UTC)

Minnowpaw purred softly, her eyes warming slightly. "You're a sweetie.." She murmured, flicking her tail. Blue b e y o n d d i m e n t i o n s 01:05, May 21, 2017 (UTC)

Littlepaw ducked his head in embarrassment but felt his heart glow. He really liked Minnowpaw, he did, but he wasn't sure if he liked her as a friend or more. I've never felt this way about anyone else. She's matters more to me than myself. ~Patchfeather~ 01:09, May 21, 2017 (UTC)

"So, wanna take a walk?" She asked, looking up at him. Blue b e y o n d d i m e n t i o n s 01:11, May 21, 2017 (UTC)

"Yes, I'd like that." Littlepaw nodded. He didn't think he should tell Minnowpaw, at least not yet. She was his closest friend, he didn't want her to feel uncomfortable, he didn't want to risk losing her. I will tell her though, I promise I will. ~Patchfeather~ 01:14, May 21, 2017 (UTC)

"Where should we go?" She asked, looking aroound the area they were in. Blue b e y o n d d i m e n t i o n s 01:17, May 21, 2017 (UTC)

"Maybe we can walk along the stream. We could find some fish," Littlepaw suggested. ~Patchfeather~ 01:25, May 21, 2017 (UTC)

"Sure, sounds fun." She replied softly, glancing over at him. 'I'm lucky to have him..' she thought fondly. Blue b e y o n d d i m e n t i o n s 21:01, May 25, 2017 (UTC)

Littlepaw padded alongside the stream, relishing the cool breeze the blew into his wet fur. "Do you like water?" he asked, suddenly, his eyes sparkling playfully. ~Patchfeather~ 21:11, May 25, 2017 (UTC)

Minnowpaw glanced over, her head tilted. "I've never really swam, but it's okay I guess.." She replied. "Why do you ask?" She added quickly. Blue b e y o n d d i m e n t i o n s 21:14, May 25, 2017 (UTC)

Littlepaw crouched down beside the shore, dipping a paw in and splashing some water around. "Maybe one day when it's hot out we can have a splash fight." ~Patchfeather~ 21:21, May 25, 2017 (UTC)

"Sounds fun, I'd probably lose though.." She said, crouching beside him. She looked into the water, her eyes showed her curiosity. Blue b e y o n d d i m e n t i o n s 21:30, May 25, 2017 (UTC)

"You'd beat me to the ground!" Littlepaw whispered, eyes widening when he spotted a silver flash. "Fish!" Without a thought, he darted out a paw, but as he drew his paw up, he just splashed water in his face. ~Patchfeather~ 21:34, May 25, 2017 (UTC)

Minnowpaw smiled slightly, laughing softly. "I don't think that's how you catch fish.." She purred, looking at him teasingly though she meant no harm by it. Blue b e y o n d d i m e n t i o n s 21:38, May 25, 2017 (UTC)

"At least I know how to catch water," Littlepaw glowered sarcasticly. He wiped the water out of his face. "My mother says my father liked swimming and fishing. Maybe that's where I get my liking for water." ~Patchfeather~ 21:43, May 25, 2017 (UTC)

"Well, that could be it.. I have no ide what my father liked, or my mother for that matter. Though, I don't need her, she left me when I needed her most.." She muttered, letting out a low hiss. Blue b e y o n d d i m e n t i o n s 21:46, May 25, 2017 (UTC)

Littlepaw draped his tail ressuringly on her shoulders. "I'm sure your mother was doing what she thought was best, even if it wasn't the best choice." ~Patchfeather~ 21:48, May 25, 2017 (UTC)

"Leaving me alone was the best choice?" She snapped, thr fur on her back rose slightly. She quickly looked away, her tail drooping and her fur flattening. "My aplogies, I shouldn't have snapped at you.." Blue b e y o n d d i m e n t i o n s 21:53, May 25, 2017 (UTC)

"It's okay," Littlepaw mewed softly. "I know you didn't mean it." He nudged her shoulder affectionately. ~Patchfeather~ 21:55, May 25, 2017 (UTC)

Minnowpaw kept her eyes on the ground, still feeling guilty. "I still shouldn't have snapped, especially you.." She mumbled. Blue b e y o n d d i m e n t i o n s 21:58, May 25, 2017 (UTC)

"It's okay," Littlepaw repeated, a little desperate to comfort her. "No offense taken." ~Patchfeather~ 22:02, May 25, 2017 (UTC)

Minnowpaw sighed and sat down, her head lowered. "Why did she leave? Was I not enough for her?" She mumbled. Blue b e y o n d d i m e n t i o n s 22:05, May 25, 2017 (UTC)

Pearpaw walked through the forest quietly, keeping low to the ground as she searched for her littermate, Littlepaw. She had finally been made an apprentice and he wasn't spending every waking freak'in moment with her? --- "Do you want some time to think?" Littlepaw asked, still sitting close to the gray and white she-cat. ~Patchfeather~ 22:10, May 25, 2017 (UTC)

"No, it's okay.." She replied, nuzzling him gently. She sniffed the air, catching the scent of one of her clanmates. Blue b e y o n d d i m e n t i o n s 22:13, May 25, 2017 (UTC)

Featherflight left camp to hunt. She followed the trail of a vole, halting when the scent of Littlepaw and Minnowpaw wafted over it. She curiously veered towards their scent. She could test their hunting skills --Patch

Minnowpaw sniffed the air, her eyes narrowed. "I think Featherflight is around." --Blue

Littlepaw pricked his ears. At that moment he spotted the silver tabby pelt of Featherflight slipping through the undergrowth. --- Featherflight halted when she spotted the two young cats, and she coulding help hiding her purr of amsusement. Those two were always toegether. "Am I inturrupting?" --Patch

"Hm, no not at all. Sorry, he needed to clean mouse-bile off so I decided to tag along..." she murmured, nervously dipping her head. ---Blue

Littlepaw nodded quickly. "I smelled." Featherflight nodded. "Well, if you aren't busy, I was thinking we could test your scent and tracking skills?" ---Patch

"Sure, sounds fun. Should we seperate or stay together?" She said softly, tilting her head. --Blue

"Stay together," Featherflight meowed, an image of the wound on Pearpaw's face flashing in her mind. She didn't want any of these apprentices getting hurt. "Let's try around the border," Littlepaw suggested, excitement pricking his pelt. --Patch

The undersized apprentice nodded, her eyes darkened slightly. "Think we'll have trouble, I heard cats try to cross the borders.." She mumbled, flicking her tail. --Blue

Featherflight flicked her ears dismissively. "We haven't had many problems of that recently. They'd run, tails between their legs when they saw us," she chuckled. "Just stay close to me." Littlepaw followed as Featherflight led the way to the border, glancing excitedly at Minnowpaw. --Patch

Minnowpaw gave him a nervous look, but she gave him a small smile once she saw he looked excited. I'm sure it'll all be fine... she thought, trying to reassure herself. --Blue

As they wandered closer to the border, Featherflight slowed to a walk. "Right, tell me, what do you smell?" Littlepaw stood on the tips of his toes, taking in a loud, deep breath. Many scents bathed his jaws, surprising him. He had to take a moment to figure it out. "I think there's a fox..." he guessed at a rank stench. Featherflight nodded. "Anything else?" --Patch

Minnowpaw sniffed the air, her eyes narrowing. "It smells like a twoleg was here, it was quite awhile ago, so I don't think we need to worry.." She mumbled, looking down at her paws. --Blue

"Good job," Featherflight praised. As they walked, Littlepaw began to pick up a strange scent - he wasn't sure what it was. It smelled like cat, but mixed up in all the others. "Do you smell cat?" he whispered to Minnowpaw, not wanting to look like an idiot in front of Featherflight. --Patch

Minnowpaw sniffed the air then nodded. "Uh, Featherflight, Littlepaw and I smell a cat scent.. It seems pretty recent," she meowed, her fur bristled. Maybe this'll be my first fight.. she thought nervously. --Blue

Featherflight was about to dismiss it as she drew in a breath, but nearly choked on it. They were right, it was cat scent. It has a hint of ScorchClan to it.. Worry tugged her fur, but she pushed it down. They'd be fine. She held her head high, looking confident so not to worry the young cats. "Let's follow it. I doubt it will be serious, but if it comes to a fight, just remember what your mentor taught you." Littlepaw followed as Featherflight quickened her pace. He had noticed her reaction to the scent, and it made him a little uncomfortable. --Patch

Minnowpaw walked quickly after them, her eyes narrowed. "Who could it be?" she asked, looking concerned and weary. "What if it's a trap or something?" she added, trying to keep her voice steady and calm. --Blue

"It'll be okay, I'm sure it's just a passing rogue," Featherflight reassured the worried apprentices, swallowing her own. Were one of ScorchClan's warriors exiled long ago? Did they leave? Is it her? As they got closer, she began to tell it was a she-cat, a she-cats scent who she knew. Her heart skipped and fluttered. It can't be her! --Patch

"What is it?" Minnowpaw asked, seeing Featherflight's face change. This could be awful.. she thought, anxiously pressing close to Littlepaw. --Blue

When the scent was overpowering, Featherflight raised her tail to halt. "Stay behind me," she ordered, her tail tip quivering. Littlepaw oberyed, hovering right behind his mother, making sure his pelt didn't leave Minnowpaw's. Featherflight slowly peered through the bracken hiding them and spotted a black-and-white shape crouched over a mouse. --Patch

Minnowpaw looked over at Littlepaw anxiously. She unsheathed her claws, her fur bristled. She looked around, her eyes narrowing coldly. --Blue

Featherflight risked a glance over her shoulder at Minnowpaw. Did she know her name? She quickly ripped it away to look back at the she-cat. She slowly stepped out of the brakcen. The strange molly whipped around, surprised. Her blue eyes widened as the crow colored she-cat saw her. "Featherflight? Is that really you?" she asked, her voice no more than a whisper. --Patch

Minnowpaw let out a low growl, seeing Featherflight look back at her. Something is wrong.. she thought, looking over at Littlepaw. --Blue

Littlepaw followed Featherflight out without thinking, gaze landing on the strange she-cat. His pelt bristled, making him look twice his size. "Yes, it's me," Featherflight couldn't help but let out a joyful purr as the molly raced up to her, rubbing her muzzle along her silver one. "I've missed you so much," Featherflight said, softly. --Patch

Minnowpaw growled softly and walked up, her claws out. She narrowed her eyes, looking confused. Who is this.. she thought. --Blue

Featherflight bleakly turned to Minnowpaw. The crow and white she-cat followed her gaze, eyes freezing on Minnowpaw. She stood silently, too overcome with emotions to speak. "You've grown so much," she managed to choke. --Patch Minnowpaw looked confused for a moment, then her eyes widened in shock. "Yeah, time tends to do that kind of thing," she snapped, eyes cold and emotionless. --Blue

Littlepaw watched in confusion, looking from Minnowpaw, then to the stranger. "Minnowpaw, I'm sorry I did that to you." The molly took a step towards Minnowpaw, but Featherflight blocked her with her silver tail. "No, Mistheart," she growled, eyes hard and a little betrayed. --Patch

"Well, you should've considered what would happen once you left me.. You have no idea how lonely my life has been without parents. You left me when I needed someone, you have no idea how I feel. Sorry doesn't fix this, it never will," Minnowpaw hissed, her eyes full of pain and anger. --Blue

Mistheart flinched, guilt flooding over her. "I know, I messed up bad. I missed out on so much. I just... I felt I wasn't good enough for you. I didn't think I could take care of you... I was too much of a coward and ran instead of trying, like I should have." --Patch

"Yeah, right, don't give me that. I don't pity you in any way. You left because you didn't want me. How do you think I felt? I watched my denmates grow up, loved and protected, while I was alone without anyone to care. Featherflight cared more for me than you ever did," Minnowpaw snapped, her fur bristled. --Blue

Mistheart's blue eyes watered. "I always loved you, I love you more than my own life!" --Patch

"No you don't! If you cared about me, you wouldn't have left me when I needed a mother. My eyes weren't even open. No one would tell me why I didn't have a mother," Minnowpaw hissed, lashing her tail. --Blue

Mistheart's head dropped in defeat. "I know. I know sorry isn't good enough, and nothing I do or say ever will be. But I came back because I know now that I chose the wrong path. I want a second chance to be your mother." --Patch

Minnowpaw curled her lip, sinking her claw into the ground. "How do I know you won't leave again?" she growled lowly, eyes dull. --Blue

Mistheart pushed past Featherflight's tail and padded towards Minnowpaw, insinctively feeling the urge to comfort her. "I won't, I won't ever leave again, I promise." --Patch

Minnowpaw backed up, her pelt brushing Littlepaw's. "I don't know if I can believe you.." she mumbled, fixing her eyes on the ground. --Blue

"Please trust me!" Mistheart begged, still padding closer. Littlepaw's heart was racing, blood pounding in his ears, the stranger she-cat coming closer, Minnowpaw's pain; it was too much. When Mistheart was whisker-length away from touching a paw to Minnowpaw's shoulder, Littlepaw lashed out, claws flashing in the sunshine, smacking the molly's paw away. --Patch

Minnowpaw looked shocked, but gently touched her tail to Littlepaw's shoulder. "Are you alright?" she muttered, eyes dull. She licked his cheek quickly, trying to calm him down. --Blue

Littlepaw hissed at Mistheart, who backed away, looking shocked and more hurt than her paw was. "Littlepaw," Featherflight said, sternly. "This is for Mistheart and Minnowpaw to sort out. Go back to camp," she ordered. Littlepaw opened his mouth to argue, but Featherflight hushed him by raising her tail, her chin jutting out. Littlepaw glared at his mother, whipping around. He whispered quickly to Minnowpaw. "Come back to camp it it's too much, I'll be there!" before storming off. Anger blazed in his belly. If he stayed, Featherflight would have confined him to camp for a moon. --Patch

Minnowpaw watched him go, her heart twisting. He's the most loyal and kind friend anyone could hope for.. she thought lovingly. "Well, are you alright?" she hissed, looking anxious. --Blue

Mistheart's eyes followed Littlepaw like a hawks, before they flitted back to her daughter. "Are you all right?" --Patch Minnowpaw narrowed hr eyes. "Was blood drawn? If so, I can find you something so it won't get infected.." she muttered. Guess going around the medicine den was useful.. she thought. --Blue

Mistheart carelessly looked at the pinkish blood stain on her paw, giving it a quick lick. "I'll manage." Featherflight still sat close by, watching Mistheart closely. --Patch

Minnowpaw grunted, padding away for a moment. She returned and chewed up a marigold leaf. The small she-cat spat it onto another leaf. "Rub it on your paw, you won't be any use if you have to be treated all the time," she growled softly. --Blue Mistheart silently obeyed, taking the leaf and rubbing the juices into her cuts. "You know a lot about herbs?" she asked, quietly. --Patch

"Only the basics, I watched the medicine cat sometimes," she muttered, eyes fixed on her paws. --Blue Mistheart noded. "I'm sorry if I was being too... blunt earlier." --Patch

"Hm, a lot of sorry's today," Minnowpaw said, sheathing her curved claws. She looked over at Featherflight. "Would she be allowed back?" she asked, looking confused. --Blue

"I'm sure she will be. She did a bad thing, but she didn't break the warrior code," Featherflight mewed, thoughtfully. Mistheart glanced to Featherflight, then back to Minnowpaw. "I don't have to rejoin if you don't want me to." --Patch

"This isn't my choice. It's up to Alderstar," Minnowpaw grunted, her eyes dull and narrowed. --Blue

"I don't want to rejoin if you don't want me to," Mistheart pointed out, weary. --Patch

"I don't care what you do. It's you life and your choice, not mine," Minnowpaw replied. --Blue

Mistheart nodded. "Okay... I'd like to rejoin the Clan, then," she mewed, casting a nervous glance at Featherflight, who gave the smallest nod. --Patch

"Featherflight, Littlepaw won't be in trouble, will he? He was only defending me like any good friend and Clanmate would," Minnowpaw said, looking up at the she-cat. --Blue

Featherflight shook her head. "No, he won't. He didn't know if Mistheart was lying or not, he may have thought she was trying to hurt you." She gave the black-and-white she-cat an odd look. --Patch

Minnowpaw nodded, feeling relieved. "So, I'm assuming you two were friends?" she grunted, tilting her head. --Blue

Mistheart nodded while Featherflight looked blankly at her. "Yes, we were." --Patch

"I see. Well that's fine and dandy.." Minnowpaw grumbled, looking tired. "Do we take her back or leave her out here?" --Blue

"Take her back, of course," Featherflight mewed, flicking her tail. "Let's go." With that, the silver tabby led the way through the forest. Mistheart followed slowly, shooting sidelong glances at Minnowpaw every few moments. --Patch

Minnowpaw narrowed her eyes, feeling eyes on her. "What? Do I look bad or something?" she muttered, hr voice full of sarcasm. --Blue

"No," Mistheart replied, blinking. "You're beautiful." --Patch

Minnowpaw shook her head. "Trying to flatter me now, eh?" she murmured. --Blue

Mistheart shook her head. "It's the truth. You are a beautiful young cat, Minnowpaw. I know I don't know you but... I know you're a good cat." --Patch

"I'm a good cat, hm? I've snapped at you since I met you," she grumbled, glancing at her. --Blue

"I know I deserve it, but stop trying to make me feel bad," Mistheart mewed, quietly. "I know what I've done, it's in the past now." --Patch

"Well, we're different. The past matters to me, even if it doesn't to you," Minnowpaw grunted. --Blue

Mistheart sighed lightly without another word. She knew it would take time for Minnowpaw to warm up to the idea of her being back. I promise I won't leave you again. I've regretted it ever since... --Patch

Minnowpaw saw camp and sighed with relief. She quickly padded in and to the apprentice den. "You here, Littlepaw?" She mumbled. --Blue

Littlepaw perked up from mopping in his nest. "I'm here!" he hopped out and raced up to Minnowpaw. "Are you okay?" --- Mistheart followed Featherflight into camp. "Alderstar's not here at the moment... so we'll have to talk to Aspenfern about you rejoining." --Patch

"I'm okay I guess. Are you alright?" She replied, pressing gently against him. "Thank you for defending me, I owe you.." She murmured. --Blue

Littlepaw purred, but still remained tense. "I'm all right. That's... your mother?" --Patch

"Yeah, I get so... You don't need to be so tense, dear.." She mumbled, pressing her muzzle gently against his. --Blue

Littlepaw forced himself to relax. "It's just... she's hurt you before, what if she does it again?" --Patch

"That's what I'm worried about, I don't know what to do.." She mumbled, letting out a low sigh. --Blue

Littlepaw thought fast. "I think the best thing you can do is try not to get too close to her, for the time being. Once she's been here long enough, maybe then you should try talking to her more." --Patch

Minnowpaw nodded and looked p at him. "What would I do without you?" She mumbled, sighing softly. --Blue

Littlepaw felt his heart glow and he gently rested his muzzle on Minnowpaw's head. --Patch

"You actually scratched her, I'm shocked.." She murmured, laying her tail gently on his shoulder. --Blue

"I didn't want her to hurt you." Littlepaw recalled lashing out at the she-cat and felt a little guilty. --Patch

"She is fine, I gave her some marigold so it wouldn't get infected." She replied, trying to reassure him. --Blue

Littlepaw nodded. "It was only a little scratch, right?" --Patch

"Yeah, it was small. She doesn't seem mad about it, though I wouldn't care if she was.." Minnowpaw hissed, her eyes darkening. --Blue

Littlepaw sighed. "That's good, I guess. I don't like her but I don't want to hurt anyone." --Patch

"It's alright, love.. I'm sure she'll be fine.. Should I try and talk to her? I don't know how to go about it.. I've never really had a mother.." She mumbled. --Blue

Littlepaw shrugged. "I don't know... I think maybe for a day or two you should stay away from her, maybe think things through, don't rush. I'm sure she'll understand." --Patch

"Or she'll run away again.." She hissed, lashing her tail. The small apprentice sighed softly, lowing her head. -Blue

Littlepaw blinked. "I hope she doesn't. I really hope she doesn't. I don't know, but I don't think she will." --Patch

"I lived without her this long, if she wants to leave again like a coward she can.." She mumbled. --Blue

"I'm sure she won't." 'Hopefully. But once someone gets to know you, who'd ever want to leave?' Littlepaw thought. --Patch

Minnowpaw sat down, staring lankly at her paws. "Should I go see her now or wait?" She asked. --Blue

"I don't know. She might be speaking with Featherflight and Aspenfern now." He's whiskers twitched. "Does Featherflight know her?" --Patch "Yeah, she said they were friends.." She replied, looking over at him. --Blue

Littlepaw wrinkled his nose. He had never seen his mother react like that before. Mistheart probably hurt Featherflight when she ran away. --Patch

"Do you think Featherflight will be alright with her being back?" She asked. --Blue

"I don't know." Littlepaw said honestly. "She seemed terrified, then happy, then stony towards her." --Patch

"I don't know what to do, Littlepaw! I'm so confused and conflicted about her.." She wailed softly, her eyes dull. --Blue

"It'll all be okay," Littlepaw mewed, touching his tail to her shoulder. --Patch

"I don't know if it will be, I'm so nervous..." She mumbled. --Blue

Littlepaw sighed. "It's going to be hard at first, but just try to think it out, I know it'll get better." --Patch

"What if she ends up hating me? It wouldn't be very shocking.." She said softly. --Blue

"Who could hate you? You're great," Littlepaw asked, frowning. --Patch

When Sapphireclaw called him, Swiftpaw ran straight to her, nearly bumping into her. "Are we going to tour the territory? Or hunt?" he asked excitedly. He bounced on his paws, tail swishing around. Silverpaw grinned at her brother, then turned and continued fiddling with her nest. -Attack cat

"We can do a bit of both," Sapphireclaw decided quietly. "It'll take a few days to go over the whole territory. We'll avoid FlameClan's border for now." She recalled the tesions between the two Clans at the moment. She didn't want Swiftpaw caught up in it.

Featherflight strolled over to the nursery with Mistheart beside her. She assumed this is where Aspenfern would be. "Aspenfern, are you in there?" she called. As they waited, Featherflight closed her eyes, asking,"Why did you leave?" Mistheart gave Featherflight a sorry look. "I'm so sorry I ran away. I just didn't know if - I didn't think I could raise a kit alone." Featherflight shook her head. "I could have helped you. You hurt Minnowpaw so much, you honestly don't know how hard it's been for her. And you were the one cat I could trust with anything, I thought I'd always have you by my side, but you left." You were really the only one I could talk to, you said you'd never leave, but you did. You betrayed me. ~Patchfeather~ 15:41, May 27, 2017 (UTC)

Swiftpaw nodded. "Okay, let's go!" he ran out, then stared about him. "Cool! The territory is so big!" He spun to face Sapphireclaw. "So where are we going first?" he meowed. Hopefully Silverpaw could join them soon. -Attack cat

Sapphireclaw ducked her head thoughtfully. "Uh..." she stammered. "I'll take you near our borders, away from FlameClan," she decided. "Let's go," she mewed, leading the way out of camp. ~Patchfeather~ 01:20, May 31, 2017 (UTC)

Swiftpaw trotted out behind her, and felt the forest floor under his paws. So many different was almost overwhelming! He kept a steady pace as he followed his mentor. -Attack cat

As they drew closer to the border, Sapphireclaw slowed. She scented cat scent; ScorchClan mixed with rogue. "Be careful, it smells like a rogue has been here recently." She trotted alongside the border, pointing out landmarks as they went. ~Patchfeather~ 12:30, May 31, 2017 (UTC)

A startling thought occurred to Swiftpaw. Why do the Clans need to fight over borders and prey? Why were there two Clans in the first place? He opened his mouth to ask Sapphireclaw, but then scented something. Mouse! He could recognize it from the scent of the fresh-kill pile. "There's a mouse!" he whispered. -Attack cat

Sapphireclaw halted, giving the air a sniff. "Good nose, Swiftpaw, why don't you try to catch it?" she murmured quietly, then frowned. Would Swiftpaw know the hunters crouch already? Everything he needs to know to catch this? "Crouch low, keep your tail still, and walk quietly. I mouse can feel your step before it sees you," she whispered in a rush. ~Patchfeather~ 13:24, June 1, 2017 (UTC)

(and someone, Silverpaw still needs a mentor!) Swiftpaw nodded nervously at her. Hopefully he would get it right. Crouch low, tail still, walk quietly... He drew his tail in, and bent down, slowly and carefully making his way across the ground. The mouse was snuffling about in some short grass. Suddenly, something cracked beneath his paws. Twig! The mouse looked up, saw him, and ran. He followed instinctively, paws pounding the earth. He would make Sapphireclaw proud to be his mentor. The mouse was about to reach some tree roots. One more tail-length, come on! He pounced, paws pinning it down. He snapped it's spine before it could struggle out of his paws. "Yes!" he meowed. Tail and head high, he carried to his mentor. He dropped it at her paws. "There!" -Attack cat

(Featherflight could mentor Silverpaw if you want) Sapphireclaw's ears pricked and she looked impressed. "Good job. Have you been practicing?" It took her nearly two moons of training before she caught her first prey! ~Patchfeather~ 13:34, June 4, 2017 (UTC)

(ok) Swiftpaw grinned. "Rainheart always had me and Silverpaw practice. She said we were going to be the best warriors in the Clan!" With a satisfied look on his face, he continued. "We just thought it was fun, but it turns out to be helpful." He sniffed around, but him racing through the forest must have scared the nearby prey. "So where to next?' he said, beginning to bury his catch. --- Silverpaw trotted out, nest built to her satisfaction. She searched for Featherflight. -Attack cat

"That's nice. Oh, um..." Sapphireclaw quickly went over the territory in her head. "We'll check out around deeper inside our land for now," she decided, tail-tip twitching thoughtfully.

Featherflight wearily padded out of the warriors. She had shown Mistheart where to build her nest, then left her to it. She spotted Silverpaw, remembering she was her apprentice. Guilt flooded over her. She had been so caught up in Mistheart, sh had forgotten about Silverpaw. She padded quickly over. "Hey, Silverpaw. I'm sorry your tour has been delayed. Have Sapphireclaw and Swiftpaw already gone out?" ~Patchfeather~ 01:27, June 5, 2017 (UTC)

Silverpaw nodded. "Yeah, they left." She couldn't wait one more second. "Where will we go first?" she asked, tail swishing in excitement. --- Swiftpaw nodded. "Okay," he meowed. "How big is our territory?" he inquired. -Attack cat

Featherflight nodded, then led Silverpaw out of camp. "We'll try to catch up to them. Can you find their scent trail?" ---- Sapphireclaw tipped her head thoughtfully. "Very big," she stated after a moment. ~Patchfeather~ 13:08, June 5, 2017 (UTC)

Silverpaw bounced, and sniffed the air. Swiftpaw! "I caught Swiftpaw's scent!" she called over her shoulder before bounding out of camp. Hardly noticing the new scents and surroundings, she determinedly began to follow the scent. After a few minutes of walking, she caught sight of her brother's black and silver fur. "Swiftpaw! Sapphireclaw! We found you!" Looking up at Sapphireclaw she asked, "Where are you two headed? Featherflight and I can come too!" She looked at her mentor. "Right?" -Attack cat

"Good job," Featherflight meowed, catching up, then nodded. "Of course." Sapphireclaw shrugged. "We're just getting a good look around the territory - which are good hunting spots and all..." ~Patchfeather~ 00:10, June 6, 2017 (UTC)

Silverpaw glanced at her brother. "Why do you look so proud?" she asked, noting her brother's stance. Swiftpaw grinned. "I caught a mouse!" he announced. "You did? On your fist try?" She stared at her brother in awe. "Well, I kinda stepped on a twig so it ran, but I caught it!" Silverpaw laughed. "It would be like you to step on a twig." They turned to their mentors."Let's go!" Swiftpaw meowed. -Attack cat

Featherflight nodded and led the way, noticing how Sapphireclaw stared intensely at her, as if silently willing her to. Featherflight wasn't sure if Sapphireclaw was ready to be a mentor, she had always been quiet and too caught up in her worries to think straight. I'll help her out. She decided. Sapphireclaw had done good so far with Swiftpaw. Featherflight led them to a stream and waded in, relishing the coolness on her sore paws. "You can come on in, it's not deep until you reach the middle." Sapphireclaw stared at the water, looking horrified. ~Patchfeather~ 22:56, June 8, 2017 (UTC)

Silverpaw hesitated, then began to step in to the stream. Before she could, Swiftpaw leaped in, splashing her. "Hey!" she yelped. "That's cold!" She ran in after him and splashed back at him. They splashed around furiously, getting everyone wet. After a bit they raced out, fur sodden. Panting, they laid down in the grass. "I won!" Swiftpaw announced. Silverpaw grinned, but was too out of breath to speak. They waited for the next order from their mentors. -Attack cat

Featherflight let out a hiss of annoyance when she got splashed, but was replaced by a quiet purr at the sight of the two siblings. Sapphireclaw stood like a piece of stone, like the water had frozen her. Water, yick!!

"Why don't we do some hunting practice, eh?" Featherflight mewed, flicking Sapphireclaw on her shoulder, making the silver she-cat jump like she had just been knocked out of a bad dream. ~Patchfeather~ 14:47, August 7, 2017 (UTC)

Silverpaw bounced to her paws, energy returned. "Yes, let's do that! Swiftpaw already caught something, so now it's my turn!" Swiftpaw stood as well. "I bet I can catch more than you,"he said playfully. "No way!" Silverpaw meowed at him. - Attack cat

Acornkit huffed. "We kittens aren't that hard to care for," he muttered. His attitude had dwindled lately. He had hoped on talking to Morningpaw but hadn't seen her lately. (Insert Sarcasm)Bite Me, Dean! 06:56, August 20, 2017 (UTC)
