The calico skidded infront of Dovepelt, lending her the stick. Dovepelt clenched her teeth hard on the stick, pain surging through her pelt. The she-cat let out a piercing wail and a series of spasms clutched the tabby. Koi was pacing back and forth. "Someone get a medic! Anyone!" Koi yowled, desperate to save her friend. Her tail lashed uncontrollably, and she scathed the ground with her claws. Dovepelt bit down on the stick, her tail curling with agony. She was aware of Creekshine comforting her, but fear bit inside her like a fox. Cats were yowling around her and she felt scared. Creekshine stood up quietly, placing a paw on Dovepelt's belly. Hmm..At least two, he thought. Suddenly he pushed his paw down, hoping to help the queen's kits. He flatened his ears as he shook with terror and excitement. Stormver 21:47, February 6, 2015 (UTC)

Dovepelt condensed, and a wet bundle of fur slid out onto the nest. Koi towered over the bundle and began to lick the mewling kit. "She's beautiful..." Koi murmured, wrapping the kit with her paw. Dovepelt, unaware of the kit, was caught in a fit of spasms. Pain seared through her hips once again, and a bundle of dark fur rolled onto the nest. Koi picked up the wet kit by his tiny scruff and placed him along with his sister. "A tom! He's adorable!" Koi purred, between licks. Dovepelt let out a sigh with relief. She plopped her head down on the nest, her eyelids drooping with exhaustion. The pain was ebbing away. Koi picked up the two kits and placed them by their mother's belly. The two kits mewled, nosing their way to suckle. Once attached, the two kits suckled, letting out small meows. Koi purred, a warm smile on her face. "If only Jutt were here to see this..."
