Being part of the Valley City was part of Kanapa's bloodline. Her mother was a servant, and her father used to be one, before he escaped to become a loner. For moons, Kanapa was hidden away with her mother and father, before being trained as a Servant.
Moons passed uneventfully for Kanapa, and then the thing that she dreaded most happened - her mother, after one day of excruciating work, died. Kanapa grieved silently, and she slipped away from the City for a break not long after her death, meeting a dark tom named Breeze, of whom Kanapa fell instantly in love with.
A few moons passed, and Kanapa - like her mother - became a queen as a Servant. She had to hide her pregnancy away from others- she only told Breeze. But the day of the kitting went all wrong for Kanapa - she lost her life, giving birth to her only child - Blitzen.
Kanapa now walks in an unknown residence, looking over her daughter, who is now a loner. Her bloodline in the Valley City has ended, but it lives on in her daughter's mind.
