Jay that Flies with Eagles is a grey tabby she-cat with deep blue eyes and a white tipped tail.

Jay has long fur and striking dark eyes, and a long bushy tail. She appears to walk quite slowly, however, which is due to joint pain that cannot be healed. Despite this she is a good hunter and on good days can hunt very well.

In general, Jay tries to be kind and optimistic, though sometimes this is hard, especially when her joints are in pain. Despite this, she is likely to try and help any cat with anything she can, liking to feel like she is doing something for her Tribe. She has a great deal of empathy for the struggling of others, though sometimes she can have a blaze of anger that usually comes in the form of being tetchy and more aggressive than usual. This can leave her frustrated at herself, and it is during these times that she is most likely to be found hunting.

Jay is first seen collecting prey from the fresh kill pile prior to the death of Eagle, and the ascencion of Fox to leadership. It is presumed that in the time between these events that she is not troubled by her joints too much and continues to be a loyal member of the tribe, hunting and patrolling as usual.
