Jay Flying in Moonlight is a broad-shouldered, silver tabby tom with brilliant blue eyes.

Appearance[]
- His fur is that of a moonlit-silver tabby, feather-soft fur and blue eyes that stare into your soul. The fur around his ears keeps him warm and long whiskers stretch from his muzzle. Darker gray stripes and markings line his flank, whisps of dark gray fur around his eyes making them more powerfult and strong.
- Jay has a slender build to his body, yet he has broad shoulders. His fur is quite long, which hides most signs of his slender build, but not all of it - the area around his stomach has slightly shorter fur. Underneath his long fur are his long legs - his height is very close to his father's.

Kithood and Adolescence[]
- He is found as an abandoned newborn kit by Holly and Creekshine. He walks around with Creekshine, being introduced to his Tribemates, until they come across Red Skies of Sunset, Crimson Clouds From Sunset, and Sun that Sets in Sky. Creekshine asks if the family's okay, and Red replies with a sharp "Fine", causing Jay to whisper in Creekshine's ear that he thinks something is wrong in the family.
